Our company was founded in 1971, when Gary Peterson began a carpet cleaning service. Gary's business soon grew from one truck and one employee, to several employees and two trucks providing carpet cleaning services, janitorial services, and fire and water cleanup/restoration.

In 1990, Gary added lawn service and snow removal. This growth required expansion into an office and shop facility. Rug and Carpet Caretakers, Inc. has developed into a 7 day a week, 24 hour per day operation. As of 1997, the original building was expanded into a 2-story building and Rug & Carpet Caretakers, Inc. now employs in excess of 40 employees.
